Hira Ora is a tangata whenua-led consultancy. Our mahi is grounded in tikanga Māori, shaped by relationships and guided by the kaupapa in front of us.
Every kaupapa is different. We bring together the people, skills and experience it calls for, drawing on our own capabilities and the expertise of others where needed.

Our approach
Relationships are at the heart of how we work.
We respect where knowledge and authority sit. We understand that every kaupapa has its own people, place, context and aspirations. We take the time to listen and understand what matters, and where we can best contribute.
Where our mahi involves mātauranga Māori or culturally held knowledge, we work with care for those who hold that knowledge, the tikanga that surrounds it and the relationships through which it is carried.
From there, we work alongside you to shape a way forward and see the mahi through.
